Ghafari Administration/HR Manager in Istanbul, Turkey
General Summary: The Administration/HR Manager maintains the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. This person will also oversee administrative tasks that are related to the overall function of the Turkey office, including an administrative assistant.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee Administrative aspects of the Turkey office, including management of cleaning and maintenance service, kitchen and office supplies, rental cars and other expenses.
Provide counsel to managers on employee relation issues including but not limited to: coaching, counseling, discipline and termination.
Understand and ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies and procedures. Administer annual leaves and vacation schedules for the employees.
Able to work across international boundaries to represent human resources and coordinate human resources responsibilities.
Serve as the on-site lead resource in the Istanbul office for human resources questions, issues, initiatives, programs and processes, and providing guidance and direction to department managers for the full employee lifecycle including recruitment and counseling of employees.
Develop and administer programs, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company.
Investigate issues such as grievances and disciplinary actions.
Coordinate recruiting related activities including but not limited to: sourcing resumes, establishing interviews, selection process, making offers and on-boarding.
Facilitate new hire onboarding and process all new hire paperwork.
Coordinate training when requested.
Conduct exit interviews and process terminations.
Manage and assign special projects as necessary.
Perform related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent field of study
• 10+ years of professional human resources experience demonstrating knowledge, skills and ability to perform the job
• 5+ years of experience within a global organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HRIS software, recruiting and online applicant tracking systems
