Ghafari Electrical Engineer (12 month contract) in Duzce, Turkey

Ghafari Associates is looking for an ELECTRICAL SITE ENGINEER to join the team. This role will be ON-SITE at a location in Duzce, Turkey. The position will be for 12 months as a contract employee.

General Summary:

Electrical Site Engineer will be responsible for below

  • Ensuring that all safety and compliance standards are met for the new construction industrial plant at Düzce

  • Assessing Lighting, Power Distribution (MV and LV), Control and Automation, ICT, Security, Fire alarm and Public address ,system installations comply with the local regulations, design specifications and construction drawings

  • Coordination with the design team regarding about possible drawing revisions

  • Review progress payments and attachments

  • Review project submittals (shop drawings) for conformance with contract documents; specify action required for conformance

  • Communicate and work with all other disciplines to prevent clash or improper installations

  • Conduct field measuring and checking at the construction site in case needed

  • Perform related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Min 6 years related experience in electrical engineering

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Autodesk AutoCAD

  • Revit, Navisworks and BIM360 knowledge is an asset

  • Good command of English with written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Team player

  • Able to reside in Düzce

  • No military obligation for male candidates
